The Power Over Pain (POP) Action Network is
a newly developing grassroots network of volunteers who are people with
pain, caregivers, and healthcare providers, working in collaboration
with other advocates, professionals, and organizations. This
consumer-driven action network is working to harness the power of the
voices of people affected by pain and advance national and state-based
policy, media, and educational efforts. The
Network leadership is state-based, and structured as teams with
at least one person with pain or caregiver and one healthcare
professional leader.
